History
The Center for Accelerated Learning was established to bring “at risk” students into the mainstream. The purpose of the center is to enhance the academic growth of students through challenging and stimulating activities. We provide opportunities for problems­solving, remediation, enrichment and application of knowledge that draws upon student experiences and interests.

Goal
The Goal of the Center is to accelerate the progress of students who need diverse instructional
strategies and support to assimilate back into the main stream public school education.

TCAL Approach
Students in our program are given an initial test. The test is a guide to determine appropriate strategies to be used for teaching and learning. Structured Programs will be designed to accelerate each student’s learning. Each student will have a portfolio to reflect on their program.
